Hey guys,

Gees can you believe that we are over halfway through April and that it’s Easter THIS WEEKEND???  Honestly we can’t figure out where the time is going, but we do know that it needs to slow down now please.

So a couple of weeks ago you would have seen the I (Emma) was up in Auckland for a couple of days and was lucky enough to attend the NYX & Remix Magazine VIP Party.    I feel very lucky to attend events like this- especially the NYX events as they’re always so much fun.

This time in Auckland I stayed at the S/O Auckland (fully paid- NOT sponsored), which is officially now my absolute favourite hotel in Auckland.   As soon as I arrived the staff were incredibly assertive asking if they could take my bags, taking me to the reception desk and making me a complementary ice tea while I checked in.
The decor here is INSANE, there’s no other way to describe it.   So much thought has gone into every single detail, which I absolutely love.    My room was no different either, so beautifully presented and a lot of care going into the detail.  Plus they have a free minibar (no alcohol included) which was an absolutely treat!

So on Thursday night, I made my way down to the Roxy Bar to get a sneak peak of the new products that are being launched by the NYX Professional Makeup Range, as well as getting to see the latest issue of Remix Magazine featuring the incredible Winnie Harlow on the cover.

Like all the NYX events that I’ve been to before, this one did not disappoint!  I love how they always create such an atmosphere and always have the best party decor.   Hello they had a donut wall and the biggest platter of food I’ve ever seen- SOLD!

The new makeup products launching are fabulous with such bold and bright colours coming for the lips and eyes!  Plus they have their Can’t Stop Won’t Stop range which includes a foundations that comes in 45 different shades.  No that is not a typo ladies!

What I also love about the NYX Professional Makeup events is that they always have an interactive set up display, so you can literally go and try what you like. I also got to speak with one of their makeup guru’s about the different products which was great.

Anyway, like always I took a lot of different snaps from my time in Auckland and thought that I’d share them with you below.
