Melbourne is well known for its food and culture and it can be difficult to decide on where to even begin when picking an eating spot for breakfast or brunch.
We’ve made it a bit easier for you and have chosen our favourites from a few places that we’ve visited while Emz has been here back in August and again this month.
Where are your favourite places to go? Any recommendations?
Crux and Co
35 Albert Road, Melbourne VIC 3004
27 Lt. Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000
We would be lying if we said we just stumbled upon this beauty, we came across their absolutely adorable babycchinos on instagram and had to go check them out. Icing on the cake was their delicious buttery croissants and sweet treats.
The Glass Den
15 Urquhart Street, Coburg VIC 3058
Not only was the food absolutely delicious and looked almost too good to eat (who are we kidding, we will never not eat food, no matter how good it looks), but what used to be gloomy Pentridge prison is now a beautifully light and stunning café with friendly staff and delicious coffee.
Le Petite Prince
1A Mercer Road, Armadale, VIC 3143
This hands down had to be one of our favourite breakfasts that we had while Emz was in Melbourne. Just look at that food!!
Ten One Ate
1018 Mount Alexander Rd, Essendon, VIC
Early morning flights to Mebourne, mean two very hungry bloggers! Luckily we stumbled across the gorgeous Ten One Ate to keep us going. 99.9% organic, Ten One Ate is the only organic café in Essendon.
Long Story Short
40 Crockford Street, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207
Tim Tam Hotcakes… need we say more? We will say more, the staff are so friendly and their muesli is both stunning to look at and eat. They also had their dessert burger for a limited time while we were there… fairy floss amazingness!!! (Check out our Insta for photos)
King Of The Castle Cafe
24 Packington Street, Geelong West, VIC
This gorgeous café is a must if you’re visiting the Geelong area. Their smoothie bowls are simply perfect.
